Dear CASETA Supporter,

In this challenging year it was a very difficult decision for CASETA to cancel the annual symposium since that is an event that we all of look forward to. However, the substantial work that went into planning the symposium will not be lost as we look forward to hosting the next symposium as early as possible. We will send you a brief survey shortly to help us gauge the best and safest way to do this.

Despite this unfortunate interruption CASETA has been more active than ever as it has collaborated with other organizations to present simultaneous live and virtual programs including outstanding programs by Shirley Reece-Hughes and Michael Grauer. We are developing a range of new programming including behind the scenes virtual tours of important early Texas art collections. CASETA has remained active across the state supporting programs in various communities and we are working on a publication produced exclusively by CASETA that will be a major contribution to revealing the remarkable legacy of women who have played a vital role in our state’s visual arts history.

As the year ends it is very apparent that to sustain our work, we need critical financial support. We are asking that you join others who have already come forward voluntarily to help us in this challenging year. A contribution of any amount is welcome.
