Bill & Linda Reaves: Up Close and Personal: Portraits from the Reaves Collection of Texas Art

Bill and Linda Reaves are scheduled to present a FREE lecture at the Grace Museum in Abilene, TX on Thursday, October 10th at 7 pm.
They will speak about the artists and nerratives presented within their collection as part of the Grace Museum exhibition "Up Close and Personal: Portraits from the Reaves Collection of Texas Art"
The Exhibit will be on view September 7, 2019 - January 18, 2020. 

This exhibition was curated by Chied Curator, Judy Deaton, in collaboration with Bill and Linda Reaves. We will enjoy personal stories about the artists, whom the collectors knew, and learn about the intriguing connections forged between the artists. The Reaves have been avid Texas Art collectors for over forty years, and together have assembled an outstanding collection of artwork by 20th century Texas artists.

The lecture is open to the public at no charge and falls on a Thursday evening when admission to the museum is free. Refreshments will be available.
